Peggy Ann Dobbs

Miss Peggy Dobbs was born October 31,1954 in Polk County to the late Horace and Lois Dobbs. Peggy graduated from Rockmart High School and was an employee at Goodyear Mills, now known as Meggitt-Parker, for over 40 years.  

Peggy departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2023, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by both parents; siblings, brother, Jerome (Gwen) Dobbs; sister, Marilyn Dobbs; brother, Michael (Joan) Beavers; sister, Linda (Wallace) Doss and nephew, Mitchell Dobbs. 

She loved giving birthday and Christmas gifts to her son, grandchildren and others. She liked traveling when she could and enjoying a good restaurant. 

Peggy leaves to cherish her memories one son, Chadwick Maurice Dobbs and his wife, Cherry Dobbs of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren, Callie and Justin Dobbs; siblings, Richard Beavers of Cedartown, GA, Ray (Sandra) Dobbs of Alabama, Wanda (Steve) Woolfork of Rockmart, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special cousins, Gail McCrory and Delia Davis of Rockmart, GA.
